I've just had the most amazing three nights in Paris with my girls to celebrate my 40th, which is at the end of the month, I'm still in my 30's for a couple of weeks yet !
We rented this apartment in the Marais and it was excellent.

Bistro du Peintre was the perfect restaurant for a celebratory meal, complete with cake and candles !

This exhibition at the Pompidou was like giant scale jewellery.

Astier du Vilatte is the most incredible shop, specializing in ceramics, they also have glass, candles and incense.

I'm now determined to make some delicious colourful macarons. This book is on its way to me.
